I hate international breaks

In Arsenal FC on September 6, 2009 by Highbury N5 Editor

I don’t see why they should occur so soon in the season, the players had one round of stupid internationals just before the season started and now there are more.

The only things that ever comes out of them are injuries. Proof: Djourou was sent home from his Swiss training camp in the last international break and now has to undergo surgery on his knee. We have also not yet seen Theo Walcott who did his back in England training, and his shoulder last season too.

Our strikers have been getting in some good practice though, Bendtner netting a very nice goal last night, along with van Persie getting his first of the season against the mighty Japan.

Aaron Ramsey scored a beautiful goal for the Wales U21’s on Friday night and he is starting to look quite some player, I have a feeling we will see quite a bit of him this season as he continues to develop.

Arshavin has some nice things to say about Arsene Wenger, lets jsut hope he stays on that bench for Russia this week and takes to the field against Man Citeh, we could be doing without more injuries.

On that front, Cesc had 20 minutes last night for Spain and Thomas Rosicky did not play for the Czech’s. Lets hope there are no more injuries.

I will be back with much more tomorrow, hopefully. Till then.
